Our History

It all started with a bike and a commitment to deliver on time!

Street Smart's CEO, Hector Torres, began bike messengering stock, bonds, and corporate documents in Wall Street for a company called Bank of America. Wanting to increase his salary he began working for various messengering companies until he found a home with a company called Streetwise. There he grew further in the messengering business and upgraded from a bike to a moped, then from a moped to a station wagon, from a station wagon to a van, until eventually becoming a dispatcher.

However, he was not satisfied with a fixed salary, so he went back to driving but this time in a truck. One day someone contracted him to do some work and Street Smart was born. He took all that he learned and pushing it to the next level. Street Smart has grown through the years by expanding its services to include warehousing, storage, crating, and installations of art and furniture.
